Why did they choose a coupe? Good luck trying to get something that has just been arrested for drinking too much in the back of a Civic Coupe
Other than that, thats a really nice car for the cops!

Apparently its a HWY patrol car. It was spotted on another board on the highway pulling someone over.
If it's a DD case Im sure they'll be calling in a regular cruiser to pick person up!

Other than the radios, siren and shotgun rack? Probably not...Most likely, Honda donated them, which means they may have to give them back at some point.
As for the issue of cages, there have been plenty of cars used by various highway patrols as "pursuit vehicles" such as Mustangs and Camaros, that didn't have cages in the back.

FYI guys, this is not the first time I see this... They had done this with the EP3. Its a program that the police put together show the public what you can do to your car with out it being illegal!
If you ask me its a waste of time because they know nothing about these cars or cars in general! Once I was talking to the cop who had the EP3 and he told me that he had the same suspension that the "REAL RACE CAR" has. I was like ok what the series it races in? He was like oh its in Japan. I am like ok so BTCC and he was like ya.
So I basically told him that he confirmed to me that he is an idiot and he look really puzzled. Me being a nice explained to him what BTCC is and told him what he just told me was a bunch of BS. I also explained to him that being lowered on Eibach Sport lines isn't a big step up in performance. If it was the Pro Kit then of course. He told me that they didn't really teach them that much about this stuff!
So their you have it.

You should've considered that option a long time ago when the Italian cops were given Lamborghini Gallardos.

I'm sure that in Japan they are given WRX's, I've never seen that, but I have seen countless pictures of the R-32 through R-34 skyline police cars in Japan, if any modifications have been done to them don't count on losing the cops in a chase.
