Default Hondata S300, CROME PRO, or Neptune?!

Can someone care to mention what they prefer?

I am a CROME PRO user, and might be looking to upgrade to the s300 as my christmas present.

I'm leavning towards the s300 because of their Nitrous control, and that is the setup i am using.

Your feedback is wanted, Please inform me what you use, and what are the features, and what you payed.

S300 gets my vote if you're looking to program it yourself, otherwise, Neptune.

When Neptune RTP is released, that for sure.
If you wouldn't ever touch your car after it was tuned (meaning you wouldn't try and mess with it after it is tuned) then Neptune for sure.
If you want it now and tune it now either by yourself or a qualified tuner AND you may want to mess with 2 step settings, etc, then Hondata S300.

And for the record, I have used both RTP and the S300 and RTP wins IMO but both are good.

Doesn't Crome have scripts to add some nitrous control?

I love my Crome PRO setup... definatly takes a little more knowledge to get it working correctly.. but it does everything the S300 can do, at a fraction of the price.

I think it can do more than the S300 system, but you are right, you really need to have more knowledge than the average joe to use it to its full potential.

Check out hrtuning.com for updates on Neptune. I have heard nothing but good things about Neptune so far. I am trying to hold out for Neptune RTP, but if it isn't ready by next spring then I will have to go with S300.

I'm a newbie to tuning but everyday the s300 is getting easier to use, with the help of a good wide band and access to a dyno makes tuning on the s300 easy.

I say s300 because it is what you can get now and has way more support then chrome does. Otherwise im hearing nothing but great things about neptune and if it was out for me to personally tune with i would buy it hands down.

I started on uberdata, great program I never had a problem with it, but I;m always upgrading or testing a new part on my car and I was tired of burnibg chips,
I tried crome, I got the car to idle but sometimes it throw a code, and sometimes it would not start so I said if I cant get the basic to work why go pro?
then I borrowed my boy's s300 ecu and it worked perfect, easy to tune and worked great.
so I bought my own and ever since I had no complaint, no problem, I can tume the car on my own etc. I dont need to buy no ostritch or whatever just plug and play, and chipping the ecu was also easy..
I can even use my ecu to diagnose my car or all my friend'e cars problem, no need to read any code the progaram tells you whats wrong. the system is perfect, I love it. s300 is great.

I think I finally made my decision, and I think im going with the s300 because of all the features with the nitrous control.

s300= 2 much money IMO
<FONT COLOR="blue">IN CROME YOU CAN USE THE AIB OUTPUT to control nitrous</FONT>

again this is just my opinion because i tune both hondata and crome... as far as burning chips goes .. there is no need for that

<FONT COLOR="red">and in about two weeks i will be able to tune wireless....no more cables!!</FONT>

I think neptune is pointless and useless to people who like to work on their own cars, or even if you pay someone to do it. if you are like me and always upgrading something that requires retuning neptune will break your pocket, because you have to pay someone to do it. you spend the same amount on it as you did for hondata and its in reality a real expensive chip because you cant make any changes to it without taking it to authorized tuner, its pointless.
