Default Anyone have a GSR'd Honda with a T3super60 in the Chicagoland area?

Trying to pick a turbo for my GSR'd hatch. Its a daily driver that rarely sees over 6000rpm and I'm looking at small turbos.

Does anyone in the Chicagoland area have a GSR-powered Honda with a T3super60 on it?

If so, I need a ride! Picking turbos based on internet threads is dumb, IMO, go for a ride in a car with the turbo your considering and get first hand impression.

I'll even give you a half-tank of gas

Yea... that gives you an idea but is only part of the picture... your intercooler efficiency and mostly tranny gearing make big differences you can't see in a compressor map.

not to mention altitude, local weather, and vehicle weight.

Load plays a big part on spool.. a superlight car will have slower spool than a heavy car. Load helps spool turbos... for proof, try crusing at 5k and use the brakes to keep revs the same while applying gas, and the turbo will spool. Basically the same effect as adding weight to the car.

My hatch is a pig.... trying to build the ultimate daily driver. It's full weight with P/S, A/C, P/W, P/L, 100 extra lbs of sound deadening, about 60 extra lbs in sound system.. it does have lighter seats, c/f hood, fg gutted bumpers, but I'd still peg it at 2400lbs at least.
