Anyone have the DC Sports Header?
I want a race header and people have said that the DC Sports header is bad because it breaks at the flex pipe my question is has anyone had this problem of breaking and replaced it with a stronger flex pipe or made it a full tube header with no flex. I think this will get me over 200hp easily. Also I know Comptech isn't coming out one for a while and when it does drop it will cost like 900 bucks so I want a decent header until I decide what I am doing boost or no boost
Comptech header will be out in a couple weeks. I was told pricing will be around $529 by Comptech, but that is not guaranteed.
DC Header had issues with the welds breaking. The O2 sensor can be worked around. Search other threads. They goes into more detail.

the dc race header did have problems with the flex pipe. They fixed this problem back in Early July. So all the ones they are selling now are good to go. I bought mine in early August and have had no problems with it. I drove my car all the way to orlando and back from detroit and had no issues. Obviously the check engine light was on when first installed but I just bought a spark plug non fouler and rigged up the O2 sensor so I wasn't driving around with the CEL on all the time.
well I'm running the dc header, dc cat back, and aem cold air intake it it's a nice roar in v-tec. But I've cruised past plenty of cops and never had any of them herass me. Even with the header and exhaust, you can drive it in the lower rpm's and keep it quite. I do it all the time going threw downtown at like 3 in the morning. But dont get me wrong, if you get on her good she will scream. (my Si is a girl)

I hear you. Thanks for the information. PM'd you.
What is the best way to rig the O2 sensor to not trigger the engine light? I read some of the other threads, but only found one solution, and I am not confident it is the best way. Want to get more opinions.

Here's the link for the best way to get rid of the Check Engine Light if you decide to go with the race header. You can also by a O2 sensor simulator. I'm not really sure what that is or how much it would cost. I just did what this link said to do. 3000 miles later still no CEL.
