Default ITR Tranny: Top Speed of Each Gears...

anyone know what the top speed of 1st gear, second gear, etc.... (at REDLINE)

By my speedometer taking it pretty deep into redline
1st 40mph
2nd 62mph
3rd 94mph
4th 124mph
5th past the 150mph mark at least

5th will bump off the rev-limiter if you have enough road.

5th will bump off the rev-limiter if you have enough road.
Only if you have enough power, stock R's won't do it. Also people, keep in mind that the stock speedo/tach are both off.

They are calibrated to be most accurate at speeds that most people drive at. I would assume that the accuracy is different depending on where you live also. But here in the states...most people are going 80 or below...so they use mechanisms that are accurate at speeds revolving around standard driving. If you go beyond that...they lose accuracy quickly becuase the sensors weren't really designed to be accurate faster than 100 or so.

Euro gearbox + Euro final drive: (=JDM)

1st: 60 km/h @8500 rpm
2nd: 90 km/h @8500
3rd: 130 km/h @ 8500
4th: 180 km/h @ 8500
5th: 240 km/h @ 8400 rpm

these are the newest #'s
1st, 40mph@86oo
2nd, 70mph @8600
3rd, 98mph@8600
4th, 120mph@8600
5th, 144-146mph@7500
all have increased but the only way it's been checked is by the chp who said the car was going over 140 back when the speedometer stopped at 140.

i have a apex N1 exhaust and h&r race springs and i hit the rev limiter in 5th gear numerous times...those are my only mods to my car. it had been done by many other R's.

Top speed in 5º gear: 260 Km/h- 162 mph at 9200 rpm, 8643 rpm at the V-AFC.

I did out the math for a USDM ITR on 205/50R15 tires at 8500 RPM.

Gear / Top speed (MPH)
1 / 41.1
2 / 63.0
3 / 91.0
4 / 119.8
5 / 156.4
R / 40.6

VTEC hits in reverse y0.

Rguy, who doesnt have the cajones to try 40MPH in VTEC backwards style. And wouldnt if he did.
