Picked up a 89 4 door. come look whats going under the hood!
Hey fellas,
I finally found a decent ride. Its an 89 4 door. white on blue. I though that I would hate the blue interior. but its in such good shape thats pretty cool. Its got like 233k on it. and the motor burns oil. but for 500 bucks...its all good. So here in about a week its getting painted frost white. and a few weeks after that Im dropping my ls motor in it.
Specs on the motor:
p73 pistons
arp rod bolts
arp head studs
dhr ported, polished, and 5 angle valve job head. NON VTEC
Crower 404s, crower double springs and retainers.
The motor laid down 184 whp. I have no dyno sheets to prove this but once its in the car the guys at P1 are gonna tune it on the mustang and ill post it.

looks like an S2 (essentially an ITR style IM for other motors)

thats cool and those 89 dx sedans don't weight **** so its gonna be fast.....if that was mine i would put a babyseat in the back and a "jesus loves you" sticker on the bumper,,leave it stockish height,,,it would be fun

you know whats cool, i have a 8 month old little girl. baby seat :CHECK. and its getting painted in a few days, all oem. im puttin the mudflaps and trim, even the fender trim on it. im going with the glove box guage pod. and its probable getting lowerd 1" to 1.5" with koni yellows and tien springs. so its gonna be a sleeper.
