I want to know if it would be worth it ( performance wise) or just go with a aftermarket like magnaflow? Be cause i am looking to do the same on my d16 powered eg. I like the way the TYPE S sounds, will it still sound good on a d16z6? has anyone heard this mod before?

I have a Type-S muffler on my stock 93 Civic Sedan LX. I was looking for a cheap alternative to replace the Flowmaster that came with the car. Anyway, if you can get it cheap go ahead and do it. And yes it sounds good.

s2k would also be nice but the 05-06 type s has some sort of buttery fly that its closed at normal driving and once u give it wot it opens up and sounds nice...
