Default help plz

the thing at the end of the tube that goes into the coolant bottle broke and i was wondering how safe it is to drive around with out it till i can pick one up? where would be the best place to get it? advanced auto parts? junkyard? if so would any d-serise one be compatible or what?

or pick up another one at the dealership or have it shipped from an online honda parts stores like this one.

and no its not safe, when the engine is cold the coolant system draws in coolant from that reservor.

just go to a junk yard.. any d series will work. i got raped when i had to get one though.. paid 15 bucks. but i left my resoviour thank on my exuast and it melted. aha

dont worry about it just drill the center out and run a new tube from the rad to the bottom of the resivoir, you dont even need the overflow if you check the level often,

whats the over flow and what does the hose doo like if i drove with out it what would happand? cuz i need to get to school in the morning and need to know how to do something quick cuz i can go to the junk yard right after

i drove for like a year without a coolant resivoir and had no coolant issues. it will be fine if you drive to school and then to the junkyard. just check your coolant level before you leave to school.

I FIGUED IT OUT!!! i had a pice of the broke plastic in my room cuz i brought the hose inside. so i took out the plastic piece that was broke and looked for something similar in size so i found a pen and took it apart and cut it down so hopefully it will fit
