My car got paint stripper sprayed all over passenger side last night at home, ****** pisses me off, no respect for anyone. Thing is I cant think of anyone who would do it? Prolly just some random ricer haters..... *******. Just wanted to share. At least I get a new paint job, but still pisses me off

Also about 70% of the car is going to have to be repainted. What should I say to get them to do the entire thing? Because I want all the paint to match now, and it wont match unless they spray the whole thing.

You could eat the difference it would cost to paint the rest of the car, which I don't think would be /too/ much.

 

Agreed...you can pay the difference, or just ask the body shop to quote them for the entire car.

Say you're not happy with 70% being repainted, you want the whole thing painted at once. The majority of your car needs repainting, and you dont want to deal with mismatched colors, new coats, etc etc...

 

..sigh. Just when I thaught it couldnt get any worse, when I was at the body shop getting an estimate, my car got hailed on by golf ball size hail. Now im looking at a new hood, new fenders, and a lot more paint work! O well now they will do the whole car for shure.

wow at least im not the only one... we had the house painted not too long ago (last summer).. specifically because I didnt want the painters to accidentally damage the cars by accidentally getting/dripping paint on them while painting the house inside and out.. moved all the cars out... and went out to dinner w/ my friend.. all our cars got hit w/ paint stripper.. the paint was bubbling and looked all curled and orange peeled.. It wasnt the painters tho.. cuz its my frenz dads painting business that painted our house and we paid them and had no beef w/ the workers.. so it had to be some stupid vandals...
