Default vtec sol. ques.

i neva really thought about it but is it possible to hook a better vtec solinoid up to a diff motor like puttin a b16 sol. on a d16???

why is this a better solenoid, the solenoid on the z6 is fine it does it does the job

yea its good but i was jus wonderin if you put like a b16 sol on it will vtec hit sooner or harder...jus curious...u no jus one of those stupid questions people ask

you would need a vtec controller to make it kick in faster, usually without mods kicking vtec in at a lower rpm then stock will just cause the car to loose horsepower i wouldnt even mess with it unless i had a forced induction setup or better cams

LoL is this thread a joke? Why would you need it to "KICK" harder, Or "sooner?" Has the camshaft profile been altered in a way that would require a lower RPM engagement? Would It make More power engaging sooner? The solenoids purpose is to get the rocker arm assembly to lock and ride on the high RPM camshaft lobe. As long as it's performing that function there would be no purpose.
