Default blown timing belt

well yesterday i was on the highway cruising at 70 and i heard a pop, then the tach went to 0 immediatly. so i got on the brakes real hard and had it at a complete stop within 15 seconds. had a friend pull me to my brothers apartment which was about 2 miles away (that worked out kinda good)
heres a few pics of what i found:

(pics were taking off my phone so sorry for the low quality)
anyways other than that it looks good, the valves look fine.
ill post some pics of the head/valves when i get my car home here in a hour or so.

did i really luck out and not bend any valves?? the look fine to me... ill clean it and run water through it and see if any water comes out of the valves.

anything else i could do to check them?

i have an extra set of b16 cams and greddy timing belt. (was planning on putting the belt on today, but those plans didnt work out do to last night.

ps, taking a head off in an apartment complex parking lot sucks... its about 90 here and humid, no shade, no sleep (to pissed off to sleep) and my back hurts from leaning over the car

edit: forgot to mention the motor is a b16a

yeah. im trying my best. hopefully the valves are ok, if not i cen get used b16 valve from a local shop for 50 bucks.

what about those groves it made though? i should probably have the head machined to smooth out the two rough spots were the intake cam sits. other than that ill just buy a new head gasket and but it back together... then go from there

anyone know what else i can do to check the valves? or does the leak test sount good enough? ...what we did in the past (with the intake main still on) was open the butterfly and spray a **** ton of carb cleaner threw and tilted the head and checked for fluid coming out/around the valves
