OK. Last weekend i installed a BRAND new clutch OEM kit. (pressure plate, disc, flywheel, TOB, etc) i was driving it last night, and i went to shift into 2nd and all the sudden the horrible sound emit'd from the tranny.. Any idea's on what could cause this? I am getting a new one installed today..

Anumber of things could cause this. Number one being abuse. Im not saying you did, but a new clutch needs between 350-500 miles of normal/soft driving to break in. Did you do the work your self?? If the flywheel is not torqued properly. it could more or less, "wobble" and could cause the disc to shatter or break. Hope i can help in some way.

i did break it in slowly. I never went over 40mph and never hard shifted or got on it hard except one time. I did do it myself, but i have done clutches to many times.. I think it was defective. Im taking it back today to advanced

For your information, OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer which in this case it's Honda since that is the company that built your car. I don't think Honda uses clutches from Advanced auto parts.

Uhhh its not built to OEM specs. There is a huge difference between OEM DEALERSHIP parts and over the counter parts store crap. The clutch you have is an example, they are built to Tiawanese penny pinching sweatshop specs. Not to OEM specs.
