Default phantom grip lsd

I recently bought a 2000 b16 tranny with a phantom grip lsd, has anyone had any experience with this tranny, I was told that it is different than the stock type r because it locks the spider gears and it will screech the tires when i go around hard corners?

its an anti-differential aka spool. it will not differentiate the torque between the inner and outer wheels when making a turn, just be careful on turns if you drive it on the streets, if its for a drag car you should be good.
