Default gsr block b16 head?

I did a search but it didn't answer myquestion, i havea gsr block and a b16 head, can I use the b16 head studs with out stripping the threads, It's only to check to see if everything is ok with the motor and tranny cause everything is new, I plan on getting arp's in a little while but in the mean time I want to start the car.

Any info would be appriciated.

yes the 2 center studs are longer, they wont fit.

lemme ask you this....are you wanting to use the b16 oem bolts or arp headstud for a b16? because ive been told by a few that have done it that you can use the b16 stud kit, but not the oem style bolts.

I was going to try and use the oem bolts just to get it started today.
I order a set of arp's for a gsr but they wont be here for about two weeks, and patience is not one of my vertues.
It's a new block and a new tranny and i don't want to have the car just sitting for two weeks and then find out that something is wrong.
