Head Bolt Q?? B16 Block w/GSR Head
I got a B16A2 Block. w/a 98 B18C1 Head.
Which Head Studs do i USE?
Im currently using the GSR OE Studs. (is this correct?)

yes i have a b16 block and gsr head in my ek and i am using the b16 head bolts w/ no problem.

When doing a combo like that, I always got what was meant for the block. So if your using a B16 block, use B16 head bolts, timing belt, tensioner and waterpump.

now what would happen if I was to use the b18C1 OE Head Bolts??
Because Im currently have it on the motor. Not sure if thats the problem to my car overheating?

It could be, since the deck height of a B18 is different than a B16... it could have thrown off torque readings when you were tightening down.
If its overheating, did you check the obvious? Replace the thermostat, make sure the fan is kicking on, bleed the air out of the system and etc?

fan kicks on.
thermostat replaced.
this is something new that happened.
the lower rad. hose is cold and the upper hose is hot!
what could be the cause of the lower hose cold?
