is it normal to run low/burn/whatever on coolant after a couple of passes down the track???

how would i know if i have a leak and how to find it?

 

Oil may be but not coolant. Do a leak down test.

 

did you just change the coolant recently? any smoke from the exhaust? any oil floating in the radiator? if you have a coolant leak chances are you could smell it, it smells sweet.

And in that case the answer should be no.

 

i dont notice any smoke coming from the exhaust. there is no oil in the radiator floating around. where should i start smelling for coolant?

where are the most common places for coolant leaks?

:edit: my engine temps is fine after the runs. i checked my coolant reserve tank and it was at the min level when it was fine last time i checked
