wat you mean by just built just new valvtrain? any changes on the block?.. was it blowing any smoke before? i get blowbys sometimes on the jdm and my buddies itr blows smoke a bit when is gunned.

no changes on the block just cams, valves, springs, retainers, and machined head.

My oil consumpion is not too bad. and it only smokes at about 6500-8500 (top of vtec)...

my buddys itr makes a black jdm smoke screen every time hes in vtec ! only thing we can think of is because he doesnt have his o2 off the cat connected

Same problem here !! I have head job, JUN3 cams, JUN valvetrain, and cam gears. I get smoke only when I dip into VTEC at WOT. Guess I'll have to pull out 'them plugs and recheck my fuel pressure.

[b]so im thinking ill get some tunning considering that it does not seem like its burning oil. anyone know a few good places out inorange county to get a tune done that wont cost an arm and a leg?
