Honda Civic LX 2006 - can I use honda civic si rims?
Hey guys/gal,
I have quick question regarding the Honda Civic Si stock rims. My GF has Honda civic LX 2006 and I just bought a Honda civic SI 2006. I am planning to buy 18 inch rims (ace manta?) , can I take my stock SI rims and put it on my gf CIVIC LX? Will it fit? Do I need to buy anything? Do i need to go to a tire store to balance?
I am kinda newbie with car, any input and help would be fine.
Thanx!

Just go to google and type in 5x114.3 3mm wheel spacer and see what you can come up with.
You can probably get them as cheap as about 25-30 bucks from what I have seen.

That's odd, our dealer has put a few sets of SI wheels from SI's that recieved the HFP 18's on non-si Civics we have on the lot without spacers needed on any of them. Unless the LX coupe has smaller brakes than the EX which I wouldn't think.

We had a 4-door that had SI wheels put on it come in for 10k mile service today and there was more than enough clearance. Only part even close was the inner part of the caliper bracket and even that had more room than the 350Z we had on the lot.
