every time I think or look at my R, I just want to go for a ride. I've had my R for a year now on 4/28/02, and I still feel the same way. I can't get over it. This is getting out of hand now I'm coming up on 20,000 miles in just one year and this would've been worse if I didn't smack my own hand everytime I went for the keys. Just venting. Talk to you guys later, I'm going for a ride
Let me give you an outside perspective. 98itr484 was nice enough to allow me to carpool with him to the aliso beach meet. After riding in his R I began having second thoughts about whether or not I should wait for the DC5-R. VTEC is extremely addicting and I found it to be somewhat like listening to my favorite song, I could hear it over and over again without getting tired of it.
KANJI- who is seriously having conflicting thoughts about whether or not he should wait for the dc5-R

I love it. And after much debate, and talking with some of my H-T buddies at the meet, I have decided to keep mine. I don't know what it is about the car.... all of the little things about it perhaps, but I've decided that I won't be happy with anything else, and I don't want to lose my passion for driving. The S2000 seems like a great car, and God forbid anything happens to mine, that would be my choice replacement, but for now, I'm sticking with #621.

Chris, who wouldn't mind being called SoCal S2K
The Waether was AWESOME here in NY today, And I had the day off so, I Took the R out for a spin. I don't drive it much now since I got a beater.
I took it to visit Rodney at work and deliver him some goodies. I had such a blast just cruising and shootin around that I flew through 4 hours and at least 100 miles. The next thing I knew I needed gas and What do yo know I met a guy at the staton with a NBP R. We started talkin and I gave him my number to join our club or for info for an auto-x.
Just such a blast today I totally understand... The feeling NEVER goes away...

I'm back! God that was fun. VTEC is the bomb! Along with the on and off ramps. I just put a good 25 miles on the R. Lets just see how many miles I can rack up tomorrow, seeing that I'm off and all.

i know how you feel. Evertime i see my car i cant think about it being gone. Ive wanted to sell my car a few times and i just cant bring myself to do it. I just get a great feeling when i go for a drive or when i look at it. And i get so many compliments on it and it just gives me a good feeling. Like all of the money spent on my car is worth every penny, atleast for now its worth every penny, but when it does come time to sell (which i cant see anytime in the near future) that money spent will be lost forever. But its worth every dime spent in the present time.
