take off the door panels
take off the sail panel with a flathead, be careful or might break the clips off
unscrew 3 nuts from the stock mirror and off it comes.
screw in new mirrors.

I didnt have to take off my door panels either for my vision ones, aftermarket might not be the best fit though, but nothing a rotozip cant handle, just make the holes a tad bit bigger, and if your mirrors didnt come with hardware run to home depot with your mirrors to make sure you get the right thread screws. bump for a fellow teamster!

what car do you drive
actually it seems like you do need to take the door panels off because the bottom part of the tweeters are tucked under the door panel so they wont just "pop out" snugly

i drive a 97 civic ex 2dr.
ya there will be about a 1/2 in. lip on the bottom of the tweater cover. you take a flathead and stick it under the bottom of the cover and lift up and take ur hand and gently pull out at the top and it should pop out. then just stick the bottom in first and push in and it will pop right back in.
