Default Civic tranny help...

if i have a 95 civic dx with a manual transmission, can i replace it with a tranny from a 96-00 civic? or do i have to keep with the 92-95's tranny's? reason being, mine is going out soon and i need the first cheap one i can find. makes it a little easier to find one from 9 years worth of civics, if its possible, lol!

didn't we answer this in your other thread?

you need a HYDRO transmission.

any will do from 92-00. there are a few differences but any of them will work.
