OK, here's the story. The head on the engine is about to go on my sister's 94 Honda civic DX coupe. I have a replacement engine from a 97 and am cosidering doing the install my self, Hopefully the only things to keep from the old engine is the intake manifold. Any tips or things I should look for?

Another Q is if i can get an LS engine what other parts (than the engine) will I need? Should I consider this?

One last ? while i'm in there I was considering a full cat-back exhaust, headers, and an intake. Car is stock but since it's an automatic I just want to add a little pep down its pipes. It's my sister's ride so no 5-speed conversion for her.

Any help guys?

intake - $100 - OBX
header - $280 - DC Sports
exhaust - $400 - Apexi

automatics suck! don't waste too much money or time on this.....unless your getting something in return.

he's right on the prices, although u could probably find an LS motor alot cheaper than that. err, at least i've seen 'em cheaper
