Default fuel pressure

hey all. Ive been looking around on this all day and cant really find anything. I have one of the b&m pressure gauges and its reading at 40 psi. Is that too lean for the 96 jdm itr motor? and should i get a fpr to raise it back to the stock psi?

iirc, the correct static base fuel pressure should be between 47-54psi.

BUT, you should measure this with the fpr vacuum line off or pinched.

When connected, the vacuum line will actually lower this to the 40-42 range on the gauge.
