I did a B16 swap into one my friends 89 hb. it starts fine but idles really poor. Im guessing it might be the timming , but what else could it be? vacuum?

any help would be appreciated

 

chances are it's a vacuum line or a bad TPS. Is the ECU throwing any codes? If not, double check all your vacuum lines.....

I used to have a pic of the B16 vacuum diagram, but i can;t find it. Look up B16a Vacuum lines on a search engine, and I'm sure you'll find a Diagram. Also, did you "T" in the FPR to the Map sensor, into the back of the intake manifold? Theres a bucnh of small things that could be off......
