Default Retain clutch, new flywheel, quick question

The block and trans are stuck together, no bolts left. Any good place to pry them apart. Helms says pull the trans from the block, i can't get it to budge.

not necessarily, you can "eyeball" it but it can be a bitch to get the tranny back on (as if it wasnt enough of a bitch already)

I removed all the bolts/mounts from the trans to block but the trans won't pull away as described in Helms.

Do you need to pry it apart? Any tips. I'm currently stuck.

Does the starter need to be removed? I removed all the bolts around it. I didn't see it mentioned in the Helms though my friend said it needs to go.

I swear I got everything but it won't crack away from the block.

Did you get the bolts on the engine to tranny side out? or the engine to tranny brace and cover?

the bottom/back starter bolt goes through the starter, through the tranny case, and into the block. You need to remove this bolt. I usually remove the starter to save weight when i drop the trans anyways. and the hole makes a nice handhold
