thats the exact ad.. it sounds like a good deal to me but is it really since they are only 3k completely new? do you think i could probably get it for 2k even?

That's a great deal if nothing is wrong with it...I sold my 01 with 7k miles for $2,200.

 

2400 is not a bad price, considering it's about a year (or two) old. 3k for a new one does not include the hidden fees (dealer setup), right?

ok i contacted the guy today and im supposed to go check it out tommorow. it actually has 3400miles not 400 i guess it was a typo in the ad.. BUT

yeah he says its never been laid down but has a cracked mirror? i dunno what are some things that i should look for/ask? i dont know alot about bikes so yeah.

While those two things you mentioned are not an automatic "walk-away" sign, I would be cautious to see if there is anything else he forgot to mention.
