B16a, go with a 3" design. Do you have a warm air 3" around? I chopped mine and inserted a straight cut 3" exhaust (14 inches) and ghetto rigged it to CAI. This is in a 90 HB with relocated battery. Check out

Personally, I noticed a large increase in mid torque, especially since I started with the warm air, not an AEM. Plus, only cost me under $30 CDN, since I had the warm air already. HTH, Overkll
