Is it the same as the '07 160 Watt system? And also is it possible my speaker could be blown / just plain ****. Havent turned it up past 25 and it sounds like crap.

 

NOT SURE IF ITS THE SAME AS THE 07 BUT HIGHLY POSSIBLE THAT THE SPEAKER IS BLOWN THEY ARE PRETTY CRAPPY STOCK!

 

Any idea how big the speakers are in the front doors? And also should i even bother replacing them?

dito , the first thing i do when ever i get a car is rip off the factory crap system , and install aftermarket equipment , but due to bein a 17yr and a desire to go for cometic / and engine perofrmace i deicided to work on the sound / interior later on buecause for the first time ever i actually like this stock 350 watt ssyte. well w/e ever has those spkrs and that sub , ( Ex) but basicly just the "tune" button put trebell to C bass 3 and sub you can max it , remember all songs are diffrent so some sound excellent and some sound crap , also a system doesnt have to be a big number to really hear it louder , you can have a 40 as max and somone else will only go max to 10 and they may sound same ....

 

ummm 25 is kinda loud man.. i dont think that is recommended for your ears.

i dont go past 17 and that is perfectly fine for me, no broken sounds or anything.

 

im just saying for the loudest its pretty clean and it sounds good . bottom line like i said it doesnt have to show a high number to be very loud , i have the kd-avx2 on my truck and it doesnt go louder then 30 and omg you cant go louder then 17 or u blow ur self up lol....

Yeah, found that out the hard way...the worst $275.00 I've ever spent

 

i get lucky with stuff working for the dealer like the aero kit, interior illumination, i get it pretty much free cuz then they can show my car to customers, well i got the bass kit and they shoulda paid me to put that garbage in, it came out 2 days later lol!!!
