the question with no answer
ok i have a 93 cx with a H22A motor swap. i have searched and searched every forum and asked a lot of people and no one can tell me what is wrong. Anyway i keep blowing one of my fuses and so my tail, instrument, or running lights wont work. people told me its a short somewhere but i have taken everything out of my car cept for the dash it self looking for a short and i cant find it. but also my fuses only blows if i gun the gas while i am in gear. if i turn the car and lights on and just let it sit nothing happens. But as soon as i start to drive and then i gun the gas to fuses blows. so if anybody can tall me what the problem is and how to fix it. you will be a king among me.
ELD maybe?get a hold of a shop manual and do the troubleshooting procedure for it.any codes?
bad alternator maybe?have you tried removing the alternator belt(make sure the battery is fully charged),and seeing if it does the same thing?

whats ELD, and i have been trouble shooting with a shop manual and a fluke meter still nothin, i have not checked codes. but i will. the batt is fully charged, i also think is maybe a bad alternator
Electrical Load Detector.
code 20(although it doesn't always throw a code)-look that up in the manual and do the troubleshooting procedure.if it checks out,try my above test of the alternator, then dig into it if it doesn't do it with the belt off.

it sounds like you have a bare wire somewhere that is hitting metal and grounding out when you hit the gas. my buddys prelude used to do this, he put his radio in, in a hurry and didnt cap off the illumination wires in the metra harness and when he would get on it the wires would move just enough to touch metal and ground out. thus blowing his parking light fuse. hope this helps.
