Default Installing a tachometer

I want to install a tachometer in my 94 civic EX. I want to mount it on the center dashboard above the aur condition vents, will I have to drill holes in the dash?

Yes, you'll need to screw in the base of the tachometer, which will make holes in your dash. Depending where you are going to run the wires, you might need to drill a hole to run the wires under the dash. Remember, measure twice and drill once.

Why not go with a jdm or udsm cluster that already has a tack? No drilling or wiring required...

True, but I still wouldn't drill, cut or modify my dash in any way shape or form. Beside that, those big *** autometer tachs tend to gain unwanted attention. To each his own though.

True. cops and thieves are attracted to tachs and guages.

Because his car already is an EX with a tach.
