its not that bad. your wheel is gonna be a pain in the *** to get off. if you have it to the last point of contact (the 17?19mm? nut in the center) just loosen that up until the shaft is flush with the outside of the nut and smack the back of your steering wheel or grab firmly and tug away with your hands on opposite sides, in an alternating fashion. it should loosen then pop up to the nut. once the wheel is loose then take the nut off, if you dont do it in that order you risk hitting yourself in the face very hard!!! You need to go to the junkyard and find yourself a horn contact from an older honda, or buy a new one. I got mine out of a DA integra i think. Because once your wheel is removed if you dont have the clock spring your horn no longer works, then there is the wiring dillema, you have to run a jumper from your pickup to the existing harness to get a horn signal. the rest is just putting it back together in reverse. Dont tighten the steering wheel up, i dont recommend at all, before you drive it (VERY SLOW due to a steering wheel that could FALL OFF!) and find out where straight is at exactly. Dont use the direction of the tires to tell you, i suggest driving it straight for at least 20 feet. that will show you its natural center much better. and Voila removable steering wheel wonderfulness. Enjoy!

why don't you turn your car off. then turn the wheel back and forth till it locks up. then loosen the nut.

BTW guys, unless you have the key/locked models, most pro honda thieves (including the ones trolling honda-tech) will carry around an extra steering wheel + NRG QR hub already attached. It's too common.

This is in addition to a run of the mill B-series ECU they also carry around.
