Default Azenis ST115 (search is down)

thoughts? marketing material says made to be quiet. thats a good thing i guess, but dont think itll matter on a s2000.

tire wear is not so good.

still loads of grip?

i dont care about rain/snow. it might be going on my S.

itll be coming with a set of wheels that im interested in, thats why im asking.

First, do not confuse the Falken Azenis ST-115 with the supersticky Falken Azenis RT-615 or its RT-215 predecessor. These are totally different tires.

The Falken Azenis ST-115 is a fairly crappy summer tire. It is a big step down from their FK-452 summer tire and its predecessor, the FK-451. The FK-452 is okay, but it isn't supersticky like the RT-615, either.

I wouldn't buy the ST-115 (or the FK-451/452, either), since there are better summer tires for the money. But hey, if you get them on wheels, just make sure the wheels are worth the price even if they didn't have the tires on them. Then it's like getting free tires - use 'em and see how you like 'em; even if you hate them, you can just toss them and you're not out anything.

totally clear.

yeah, just wondering if its even worth it to have these tires along with the wheels. its not possible to separate. so yeah, trying to guage how much extra these tires could be worth in the price...

if they had SPT's, id be all over it...

Not much. Heck, not anything if you're not going to like them. If you're happy with what you're paying even if it didn't come with tires, then go for it. If not, then don't get them.

Not on my own car. I've ridden in a friend's car with them. They're nothing great...
