Default A question for all of you Tech Experts =)

This article has got me thinking http://www.speedoptions.com/news_hot...earch&v=1&pg=0

Would it be possible to swap in a B18C in my integra ls (just the long block), keep my current auto tranny, and run the car off the JDM B16a auto ecu or the jdm B18C si-r auto ecu? If this is possible what will be needed to make it work?
No flames please

ok. no comment on the linked article.
but yes, you can mate an auto b-series LS tranny to a b-series vtec block. you'll need to swapp all the at clutch components (flywheel etc) over and yes, run a JDM Auto ECU. I suspect you have an OBD1 (94-5) LS, correct?

he could but that's actually a temporary remedy to get vtec to work. The correct way is to actually use a vtec ecu on a vtec engine and take advantage of the vtec fuel maps when vtec kicks on. you follow? The stock non-vtec ecu doesn't have the same fuel maps as a vtec ecu does. you follow?

I have a obdII 96 LS but I am thinking about running a obdI ecu. What will I need for the obd2 to obd1 conversion? Hey Katman do you carry the JDM Auto P72 and if you do how much do you sell them for (obd1&2)?
