Default wheel repair question

I was thinking about sanding / repairing / repainting some wheels on my civic and was curious if anyone knew if they would survive having tires mounted. Someone told me if i were to paint and clear them myself they would probably get messed up when new tires had to be mounted.

I was thinking of using 3 coats Wurth Silver Wheel Lacquer and 3 coats Wurth High Gloss Clear Lacquer.

as long as let them dry for a good period of time and tell the guys mounting your tires that you just hand them painted and to please be careful there isn't really any issue......and make you tell them not to put weight on the outside of the wheel( it can scratch the paint or nick the paint and cause it to peel). tell the you want an alloy 2 balance and everything should be fine
