Default What model number WS2 for a 92 SI?

I'm looking to purchase a WS2 for my 92 SI hatch. Do I need the 116-KH02 or the 116-KH01? The HK02 is for H/B's but it excludes the SI so what are the main differences?

And yes I did try searching.

So did you send the hatch version back to get the proper one or are you just living with the rattle?

The apexi website lists the Civic Coupe EX / Si 92-00 for the 116-KH01 but the 92-95 Si's weren't coupes so that's what's throwing me. I just want to make sure I buy the proper exhaust.

OK, so that's one for the standard h/b exhaust one that says the standard isn't the proper exhaust. Any luck finding your paperwork dohcdelsol?

Look. I ordered the 104-KH02 from Truehonda. Fits perfectly on my SI and a friend has the EXACT same exhaust on his DX hatch. Whoever's feeding you that there's some special version of it specifically for the SI is wrong.

If that's the case then why does apexi's own website list the following for that part number?

116-KH02 - Civic 1992 - 1995 H/B 60mm; 100mm Excl. Si Model
116-KH01 - Civic 1992 - 2000 Coupe EX / Si 60mm; 100mm

I just want to make sure I get the right exhaust since Apexi specifically says not to use the KH02 on the Si and another member claimed they had problems.

I just got a ws2 installed 2 days ago... (b16 in a hatch)... just went universal ws2 and bent my own 2 inch piping... intake sounds great and good back pressure... i had a dunk... way to loud and no back pressure.

Why don't you call them and find out why it says the SI is excluded on the site?

All I can say is I have the 116-KH02 on my 93 SI and it fits PERFECTLY...no rattling, no fitment issues AT ALL. I don't know what else to tell you man.

I think that's what I might have to do actually. I'll report back with my findings.

hey i looked for the paperwork and no dice... i know the muffler has some writing on it and a number but i dont think its what your looking for.

i ended up switching exhausts and goin with a thermal. then i mated the ws2 muffler to the thermal piping.

i do have the 2 middle sections of the apexi ws2 and when you get yours, hopefully you wont have this problem, but the s-bend pipe was the cause of my rattle. only on left turns though. but it seams that no matter what i get, its always different for my car

Where exactly did yours rattle? Was the piping just hitting the heat shielding? A friend of mine baught some cat-back from ebay for like $130 shipped. He bitched because it rattled like crazy and was ready to rip it off and sell it...I jacked it up...bent a piece of the heat shielding up about an inch out of the way....been prefectly quiet since then.

I still stand by what I say...I ordered the 116-KH02...bolted up to my car perfectly and still fits perfectly...no rattles at all.
