Default Fuel Pump Fuse

Just swapped a 97 H22 in a 92 Prelude SI, ran vtec wires running P13 ecu.. no CEL, everytime i put the key in the ignition and turn key to ON position, i blew the Fuel Pump Fuse (Fuse No. 4, 10A Under-dash fuse box) anyone know what would cause that, i check for a short but nothing?

I don't know what all is on fuse #4 or if it's just the pump, but try and see from a manual what all runs off of that fuse, check ur wiring and make sure it's all connected to where it's suppose to go. Whatever u do don't replace it with a bigger fuse cause that just creates more problems. U can use a voltimeter and check from the beginning of the fuse to the end of the fuse checking for connectivity to make sure that there isn't a short in the wires. That's all I got for now. Prelude owners chime in.

Fuse # 4 according to Helms is the PGM-FI Main Relay fuse, on the under-dash fuse box cover, it is known as Back-Up Fuse, it comes from Fuse # 36 from under-hood box AKA PGM-FI Main Relay 40A Fuse...

i traced the wiring for the fuel pump and it is as follows:

Ignition Switch ON -> Under-Hood Fuse Box (40A PGM-FI Main Relay) -> Under-Dash Fuse Box (10A Back-Up Fuse) -> PGM-FI Main Relay -> Fuel Pump
