my 01 lx is making some almost rattling .. studdering kinda, some what hard to describe. but it only happens when im just starting to go forward in 1st.. anyone know what the problem is? i'm thinking of just taking it to the dealership, but you all know how that could be

 

I have a 92 so I don't know if it is the same in the exhaust, but when my car was about 6 years old there was shield on the cat that rusted up and broke on one end and it rattled. I took it completely off and no more rattle since then.

Check your exhaust.
