hey whats up everyone, i just swapped my 92 prelude si to a jdm h22a with m2b4 tranny, now i have reason to believe the motor may be off a 5th gen cuz my fuel gauge and waer temp used to light up b4 the swap, now nothing, my distrutor has an internal coil ( im using my h23 harness) so i need an external coil and there is no sensor for the water temp? is all this related to why my gauges wont light up? is this a set up for an obd2 system?

 

Are u saying none of ur gauges work? In the mean time easy thing to check is ur grounds, especially thermostat ground. To find out what year ur engine is it should be stamped on the block, on the left side of the head above the headers I believe, looking at the motor.

 

i think the grounds are fine ther are a set on on the driver front mount just chillin there not ground but its not connected to anything. and yes none of my gauges are lighting up only the non leds like check engine light and srs and all that other stuff.
