Default gsr fuel gauge help

i already tried a search and have all the write ups
and some of the wiring diagrams contradict each other and makes it rather confusing

my problem is when i installed my gsr gauge into my eg, everything works fine except for the fuel gauge, it doesnt even light up, and when the gauge is below half it drops to below E, or when its above it goes to F.

i am beginning to think that it might be the piece in the fuel tank

any help would be appreciated thanks

that is strange because mine went fine during my gsr dash swap. The only issue is the fuel guage? It could be the sending unit tht is in the tank.

did you swap out the low level light sending unit? cause the eg don't have the low fuel warning light. correct me if i'm wrong.

nope.

does it have to have the sending unit in order for the gauge to work, i just assumed that it just was only used for the light, not the actual gauge
