Default J's Racing Air duct Dc2

Guys,

I ordered my J'S racing air Cf ducr from JHPUSA.com ,like 2 months ago.

they keep telling me it has been ordered from Japan, will take a while.

Anyone any idea if this suppose to take that long, or waiting same long time as i am.

Still after not even an update from JHPusa as for order in process, part needed to be made etc etc, just that i have to wait.

any comments,

Rishi

FWIW, when I ordered my J's racing intake, it took 3 months to get to me. But it was well worth the wait.

Wauw, that is a long time.

Is it actually requested from Japan to be made at that moment of Ordering?

So not even Japan stocks those parts ready to ship to usa??

Yep, that's the problem with some distributors of JDM parts, they don't sell enough to keep them in stock. Think, we have ITR's so there's only a handful here in the states. Then take into consideration how many places sell JDM parts. Now do the math, would you stock the parts? I know I wouldn't. And as for really coming from Japan, mine did.

also remember pieces like this are hand made, very similar to ours at memoryfab, so it will take a while.

J's had them in stock when I visited their Osaka store last year. It's probably coming from Japan by boat which takes several weeks.

When I ordered mine it took 6 weeks was suppose to be only 3 weeks by j's stuffed up the shipping. Either way my 6 weeks seems like nothing compared to you guys, 3-4 months? wtf

Aight, guys.

I will wait honestly. It is nice to receive feedback from a pending part.

My ITR will here Oct 2nd from Japan, so hopefully I can get it in couple of weeks.

(ordered Aug 18th)

JHPUSA, thanks for update so far.

Regards,

Rishi

you've not even got the car in the country yet to put the parts on, and you're complaining that the air intake duct for a car you don't have hasnt arrived yet, that you couldnt fit even if it was delivered?

So you're saying if I ordered a new 60 inch state of the art flat screen tv and it doesnt arrive 3 months after it was suppose to its ok because I havent moved into my new house yet?

Same here, by hand one by one. It is very very difficult to mass produce carbon fiber products and be high quality! It takes a lot to train a good carbon fiber employee! Mainly if you are using advanced manufacturing.

i believe jhp gets their parts from aj, j's normally takes 6-12 weeks by ocean freight. i got my intake and etd in 5 weeks, but that was just extreme luck that the product was instock and shipped immediately to a container that was on its way to customs. waited 4 months for an s2000 intake from them.

still waiting for my j's header, 6 weeks and counting. doesn't look like it's coming this month so it'll be at least 10 weeks.
