ok heres my problem. i have a after market header hp racing to be exact.its a 2 piece header and i have a air leak from the middle of the header were the 2 piece connect. i wen t to auozone they gave me these dougnut thing they dont fit. what else could i use? i tryed just squeeze on gasket maker didnt last long. and the guy at the auto part store told me that the sheet of gasket maker would work either. please help

 

Why don't you just buy a new exhaust manifold gasket?

The middle one between the two piece is not as easy to find.

I think my friend used that glue **** you use for the cam gear seals. I guess you can try that or try calling the the header company

 

did the header come with the metal o ring? because its supposed to. if it didnt call the company and tell them to send you one

 

nope it cam with the flat looking gasket. but i just welded the bish shut. so no more leak
