I'm pissed. Fog Light Cracked!
Okay aparently these OEM foglights aren't built to take a rock hit, even being 6 inches from the ground.... How retarded, now I'm fighting with warranty people and the dealer to get this fixed, they are trying to say I have to claim it on insurance.... BS man.
On a lighter note, I got my Evo2, installing it tomorrow.

That's Vandergriff Honda for ya. Bad customer service. Try taking it to the David McDavid of Irving location. They have the biggest service department in the area, and are always very helpful whether you bought the car there or not.

I busted a fog light on my last Civic and my dealer wouldn't warranty it. They said that it was just like a windshield, window, or side mirror. If it breaks from an impact, it isn't a production defect.
Hopefully you get lucky, or get some great dealer to replace it free.

I understand that, but I am just warning you that breakage isn't normally warrantied.
Curb rash on a wheel, or a cracked bumper from a rock, or a busted headlight are no different than this, and all are not warrantied.
Before someone at a dealer "gets an ear-full", you better make sure that you are correct in your assumption that this will be a warranty issue.

If a bumper cracks from a rock, then it should be covered because its a bumper vs a rock, the rock shouldnt win unless its a brick. Just like these fog lights shouldnt shatter when a pebble hits them.
If you don't get any where with the dealership, you should bitch to corporate .... if you utter the words " I will never buy any of your product ever again ....", that usually gets their attention.
