VTEC not working

Default VTEC not working

hey my VTEC is not working for my EK Coupe
its a d16y7 I installed the y8 head and the vtec dont kick in... whats wrong???

Oil level is fine, spark is fine... it runs strong and smooth but i cant hear vtec like I did before

double check everything. maybe you forgot to connect a wire.

did you pull out the oil jet in the block? between cylinders 2 and 3?

why are yall asking about the oil jet?

look how he worded that^^

if it was working before, then its not going to be an oil jet.

im going to go with re checking your wiring

yeah but you can still here it?

if so it is just a smoother (better) transition from small lobe to big lobe
