Default got a b18c5 but dont know where to put it.

ive got a 98+spec b18c5. im not going any other way than all motor. however im worried that what i want to put it in may be a tank. im kinda want to put it in an ek coupe. reason being.....itll be my daily. anyway im starting to lean towards my buddies eg hatch that hes got. anyone have an ek coupe with a c5? how does it feel? anyone else think that an ek is just too heavy to have a fast daily?

also, ek hatch is out of the question because there are way too many of those around this area already. and nothing older than eg because i know what it would take first hand to track something like that down.

do a search on the chassis weights and play with a 'quater mile calculator'. you'll get a rough idea on quater-mile vs weight vs hp.

keep in mind that weight is JUST AS IMPORTANT as hp.

i definitely believe that weight is as important as hp. and i know for a fact that an eg would give me the hp to weight ratio that i want.

if i do an eg, ill have to do a lot of work to it compared to an ek coupe. however, if im not mistaken, eg hatches are about 7-900 pounds lighter. thats a big weight difference being natural aspirated. if i could be satisfied with the ek coupe being quick enough for me then ill do it. otherwise ill go eg.

You should put it on a freight truck and send it to me.

well ive finally decided to go with an eg hatch. theres not too many around here, so itll be different from what everyone else has in this area. plus it will give me the hp to weight ratio that i am looking for for it to be a mean little daily.

thanks to all that posted

Good choice with the eg... A eg si weighs about the same as a ek hatch though... I'm not too sure about the weight savings.. unless you got a vx or something.. Then its like 300lbs...
