Default Mugen Ground Cables

I got my Mugen Ground Cables yesterday, according to them they dyno up to 2-4 whp lol, and get ya an average of 1-2 more mpg's.

Cant say for sure whether they do all that or not, but it did smooth out the idle like they said they would, pretty inexpensive so a good buy!

1-2hp or not... still looks like a rats nest.

I was given a grounding kit by one of my friends with a shop last year for christmas.. and I sold it

Nope its not as you can tell from the picture it was raining and I just wanted to hook up and see if it did smooth out the idle, im going to of course re-route them to make it a little neater. Ive noticed that the typical civic tic has gone away since putting them on there though.

I don't think that's a real Mugen product.

Let me guess, you bought it off of eBay right?

Is the Mugen emblem ingrave in something or embossed into the cable lines? Or is it a Mugen sticker (fake Mugen product).

I have been looking at a number of JDM sites and products and have yet to come across the ground cables.

Is your capslock stuck?

On new, modern cars, grounding kits like this do...nothing.

If your existing wiring was corroded, or the terminals were caked with oxidization, and contact points were being compromised, then this would make sense.

haha no but im at my parts desk and our system only recognizes caps so i just forget.

if you dont think they do anything thats fine but im just saying it makes a noticeable difference in the idle.

That is an interesting observation. Was the idle rough before for some reason?

since like 2002 honda civics have always had that tic in the idle and a vibration while at idle, tic is no longer as noticeable nor is the vibration @ idle

Had an auto 02 LX coupe prior to my 06 Si. Never noticed it on either car, but maybe its just me.

This is what they are for and designed to accompolish.
Improved idle and drivability are often obtained as the additional grounding points equalize resistance and voltage between various ground points. Direct ground path from battery negative to body, chassis and engine components, making for better electrical circulation.

by the way-my crazy *** kid brother has to take riddalin or whatever for adhd, if he doesnt take it hes a freak, but when i give him an aspirin instead hes fine cuz he thinks he took his medicine==PLACIBO!

For 28 bucks noone can really hassle you too much either way. If you'd spent ~$100 or something even I would rag you for it

well as nice as you make it sound... $30 is worth it...

HOWEVER, the engine (already cluttered) looks even MORE cluttered. Not that I spend a lot of time looking under the hood, showing it off, etc... but I can't stand to see the clutter

What does this do to warranty though?
