hello, i am about to change my oil in my gsr and i would like to know what weight would be best? I live on an island and it stays 80-90 degrees year round. i normally use 40 weight but i would like to know if i should use a different weight.

 

your manual tells you 5 w30

 

use royal purple racing 21 oil... you'll like it, its gonna cost you like 40 bucks for just oil though

Honda recommends 5W-30, and as long as you keep up with proper change intervals, there is no need to spend a lot of money on exotic oils. Any quailty 5W-30 will work just fine.

 

You have over 1000 post and still dont know how to seach

Thats what I use, and when its time to change, I recycle it and make dough boys.
