Hey I have a '93 1.8 Acura integra LS motor with a GSR tranny. I noticed that on the head the ignition is on one side of the cams but I noticed another mount for a second ignition on the other side camshaft. I was told that in Japan this car came out with double ignition but that the integra computer is diferent from the one here in USA. Does anyone know what do I need to add on the second ignition and what kind or where can I get the right CPU for such convertion???
All Integras have one distributor, coil, rotor, etc. Some new cars have two coilpacks, or one coil per cylinder. Not your engine, regardless of whether its JDM or not. You're lucky I don't sig your ridiculous question

WTF are you talking about a spot on the exhaust cam for another dizzy? How the expletive would that work? I am in such disbelief after reading that post that i feel much more stupid than I was before.

I'm gonna have to take some pics of it and post it up so you can see what I'm talking about.. I bought this Honda civic with the Integra engine swaped in it already, maybe the previous owner changed the head for a late model integra head that brings two coil rotors.. I'll try to post the pics by friday the latest....

I just had to sig this before someone else snagged it. Please read my original post it explains why this is not the case. This post is a joke and should be locked before you get more thoroughly roasted.

He is talking about the cam seal plug, I guess if you had no clue then you could think that it is a spot for a dizzy.
OP you are talking about the shiney silver pieve behind the VTEC solonoid (sp?) No it is not a spot for another dizzy, it is just a cap/plug to seal up the head, it is where the end of the cam is.
There is not a double dizzy motor, USDM,JDM,CDM...etc

Or an H series motor that has the distributor running off the exhaust cam instead of the intake cam like a B series.

I was just saying that at first glances, an H series motor can be confused with a B series motor, so maybe that is where he is coming up with this?
