If i Throw type s cams into a base model head, will vtec run on both cams??? Or is it with the head itself or ECU??

 

ECU and head are different

i.e. will not work, unless you do major mods

dude the a3 is junk sell your entire swap, motor and trans, and get a type s swap, the a3 is not worth dumping money into

 

don't waste your time and money on that, just boost it.

 

dont boost that junk *** motor, this kid that lives down the street from me, has a 04 si, cybernation turbo kit and is only runnin mid 14's. another guy i know has a 03 si and is jackson racing supercharged and best time is only a 14.3, these are both with 2.1 ish 60fts

that motor and trans is junk get rid of it, you can get a k24 long block for a grand and a type s trans for another grand put a grand into the k24 and your runnin 13.0 or better for 3 grand

 

bump...spend a few grands to make a little different....aint worth it.
