Hey guys. NASA held it's 1st ever National Championship race at Mid-Ohio earlier this month. This was a stand alone 4 day event to determine the best in the country. I have some great pictures and a race report up on my website. I figured I would share with my fellow prelude lovers:

There were several other Prelude at the race:

Chris fries (Chris F) in his 4th gen H1 prelude that used to be Cory's (Honda318dx) old prelude.
David Rierson (DR) in his 5th gen H2 prelude.
Trevor Melville (trev) in his 3rd gen H4 prelude.
Team Honda Research had a 5th gen there also, but I don't think those guys are on Honda-tech.

what would illegal port work be?

 

any port work at all is illegal in HC i believe....thats why K cars dominate....

 

i think it's ok to do port work in HU class, but don't quote me on that

oh wells. i'm getting those hoosiers on his car this week nothing like free tires that are good enough for at least one auto x event

 

In h2 to h5 you can only machine the head 1" or less into the ports, any farther and you get DQ'd. In H1 and HU you can do much much more and still be legal.

I'm going to be adding hondata and a new LSD (switching to kaaz) for next year, so I'm hoping to do better next year. I'm still using the bone stock ECU right now.

We gave him such a hard time after the race for that one. I'm sure he will never do that again.

 

Its about time we see some more quality posts in here, keep the good threads commin.
