Default question| Increased Flow, Horsepower And Torque

i own a '00 lx; stock engine
want to know how to Increase Flow, Horsepower And Torque.

right now all i got is a 3a racing exhaust but want to know of upgrading to magnaflow is a good idea

i want to do a swap and im lookin for a v tec motor, but until then i want to know what can i do to this engine

can a bolt on turbo be a good idea?

save up for a dohc vtec motor.
dont waste your money on the lx motor.
you can turbo the single cam but i prefer a dohc.

I wouldnt change your exhaust just yet wait till you have the turbo stuff done. It sounds like a lil research would do you some good. I would recomend you buy used dsm trubo parts (cheap and effective) and build from there. Check out http://www.homemadeturbo.com they have lots of good info there for you to wet your tounge.

ok so 1st the turbo 2nd exhaust?

what difference will that make?

fitment. you will need a downpipe made for you to fit your exhaust. Any strait through exhaust should do the trick. If you upgrade to magnaflow make sure you get a "turbo" (strait through) muffler for it instead of a "chambered" one .
